I went in last evening and I did it!!! I got my license and now I am ready to ride! Safely. She had been there last weekend and had seen me do the skills and knew I could do them. Then Grace (so aptly named) called on Tuesday and asked if I would like to come in and try the skills test one more time. But after 6 hours on the bike in the heat, I was tired and didnt get some of the skills done well enough to pass. I was invited to come back and try again and this time, I did get to test. He stuck it out with me and was so encouraging. Matt, my Rider Coach, was the ultimate instructor, passionate about teaching and keeping me safe while I learned. Grace Bobrinitz, the manager of the Riders Program, even had me come in several evenings and practice shifting on the Jumpstart, a stationary motorcycle located downstairs. I am a bit older (51) and very inexperienced (rode dirt bikes as a kid) and these folks worked with me tirelessly and patiently over 2 weekends to get me riding, and riding safely. My recent experience has involved the Motorcycle Riders Course taught here. I am happy to be a new patron of your business. I would recommend Docs service department as they communicate effectively through changes/updates, work through difficulties to customer satisfaction, and secure every discount they can for you. Rick worked with me through my schedule changes as I worked with him through the delays in acquiring the heated hand grips and in the end I was happy I change dealerships. And the lighting works like it was intended to. The tech at Docs not only installed them correctly-even though it was new to him as well-but he also dressed the wiring perfectly. Charles HD about installing these lights to which they replied they couldnt-they never did it before, so I suppose they didnt want to mess with it. He saw to it that I received a discount on the grips as well. He took care of ordering/scheduling/installation along with installing heated hand grips for me. Shout out to Rick Feldman in Service at Docs H-D for all his help at Docs to install Clearwater Sevinas on my Road Glide Special. ![]()
